Piper came to rescue through no fault of her own. Her elderly owner just wasn’t able to care for her any longer.
Piper is a very affectionate pup that loves to spend time with her person and loves to snuggle in your lap, and sleep beside you in the big bed at night. There are times she gets a spurt energy and loves to run and play fetch with you. She is house trained and loves to amble through the fenced-in yard and explore on nice days, and you’ll even catch her basking in the warm sun!
Piper would do well in a setting where someone is home a majority of the time and who is also willing to help her on her weight loss journey, as she has a few extra pounds she needs to shed.
