Copper is a 6 year old red dachshund who is very shy and scared. Once he gets to know you, he’s your little shadow; however, he’s working on his fear of strangers and can snap. For this reason, we recommend a home with no kids (or older kids only) and an experienced dachshund home willing to let him get settled. He loves his foster dad and can be a bit protective of him. He will need to be the only dog in the home.
