Baxter came to TDR/HDR from a local shelter because he had heartworms. He has been treated for heartworms and is healthy and happy! Baxter loves to play outside on nice days. He spends hours and hours chasing the birds and looking for rodents although he's never caught anything - so he's a hunter. Baxter has some quirks - like he doesn't like his lower belly touched and will let you know - but he's a loving dog on his own terms. He is often on the couch with his foster mom snuggled under a blanket. Baxter cannot be crated because he will bust through them, but he does well being housed in the laundry room when his foster parents aren't home. Baxter is being fostered in Kansas City, MO.
