Duke is a young at heart, senior dachshund who came to the rescue when his owner passed away. Duke was well-loved by his owner and it shows. He's active for a senior, loves walks, treats, toys, etc. Duke currently sleeps in the bed with his foster parents or on the dog bed on the floor next to the bed - he decides where he wants to sleep. Duke doesn't like to be crated and would do best in a home without shared walls because he can bark from time to time. Duke is relatively house-trained. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and recently had a dental.
