Gazpacho is about 20lbs. He is an active playful pup that loves running around outside and playing with toys. He loves his people, but can be fearful of strangers and meeting strange dogs. He just needs some time and patience to warm up.

This handsome guy is looking for a dachshund-savvy home that understands the breed's stubborn streak. Once he settles in, Gazpacho is convinced he's the king of the castle, and that his people belong exclusively to him. He'll need a confident owner who can set clear boundaries and remind him that he doesn't get to make the household rules.
The good news? Once Gazpacho understands the rules and realizes he isn't in charge, he's an incredibly loving little dog. He adores his people, lives for snuggles, and happily soaks up all the affection you're willing to give. In fact, he could very easily be spoiled. You'll just need to make sure he earns those privileges instead of demanding them!
Gazpacho is working on his house training and does well with consistency and a good routine.He walks nicely on a leash and harness, but he'd love a securely fenced yard where he can zoom around and patrol his kingdom.
Because he's still polishing up his manners and can be a bit bossy, Gazpacho is looking for an adult-only home with no children.
