Scrim is a 2-year-old 14 pound wire-haired dachshund mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. This sweet boy was rescued and is now looking for a patient, understanding home where he can truly blossom.
Scrim is a big-time cuddler who absolutely loves being close to his people. While he can be a little skittish at first, with some time, consistency, and gentle reassurance, his affectionate personality really shines through. Once he feels safe, he’ll be your loyal little shadow.
He’s very food motivated (which makes training easier!) and is just starting to discover the joy of toys—watching him learn to play is incredibly rewarding. Scrim is mostly housebroken and just needs a stable, consistent routine to help him fully succeed.
Scrim would do best with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to go at his pace. In return, you’ll gain a devoted companion who will shower you with love and cuddles.
