Tennessee Dachshund Rescue (TDR) was founded in Cookeville, TN in (May of 2019) by Leslie Hardin We are an all-volunteer organization working tirelessly to rescue dachshunds in Tennessee and surrounding states who have found themselves homeless for one reason or another. We rescue dachshunds of all shapes, sizes, ages, and conditions.
The volunteers at TDR are always on the go, taking homeless dachshunds off the street and make them as comfortable and happy as possible until we can find a loving home for them, no matter how long it takes.
We pride ourselves in treating every TDR dog like our own personal dogs, this includes the vet care we provide. All our our dogs get up to date with routine annuals, vaccines, heartworm test & prevention. For those in need, we also provide bloodwork, spays/neuters, dental cleaning and extractions, mass removals, heartworm treatment, and other desperately needed procedures.
